MOVING FORWARD ON NEW CHURCH

Our Grand Opening service will be March 23 at 10:00 AM at the Comfort Suites in Mt. Juliet, TN!
We have been having home meetings and spreading the word.  Last week, a couple of more families committed to helping us.  We started small, but are gaining ground.

We have a web site.  It is still being developed, but you can take a look here:
 www.wilsoncountychurch.com

On the home page of the web site at the top is a button - Donate a Gift.
We are looking for some friends to give a $100 each (or whatever is possible) to help us with start-up costs.
Here is some of what we need:
     Rent
Printing - Invite cards, brochures, stationery
     Insurance
     Web site hosting
Equipment - sound, projector, offering, children's
     Signs, Banners
     Gifts to guests
     Office supplies
     Postage
     Advertising - mailing, newspapers

You can donate on our web site without being a pay pal member.  We are a 501c3 non profit organization and you will receive a receipt for your donation.

Will you take a moment right now and pray for us?

Will you take a moment right now and send us a donation?

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

STARTING A NEW CHURCH

Where?
Mt. Juliet area in Wilson County, Tennessee.  This is a suburb of Nashville.

Why start a new church?
* Churches grow old and die just like people do.  We need replacements.
* A much greater percentage of new Christians come from new churches.

Why start a church near Nashville?
* The Nashville area Metropolitan Planning Organization projects a growth of almost 1 million people in the Nashville area in the next 20 years.  We need new churches for the new people. http://www.nashvillempo.org/growth/
* Business Insider lists Nashville as one of the 15 US cities that are driving the future. http://www.slate.com/blogs/business_insider/2014/01/11/best_performing_u_s_cities_of_2013_2014.html

Why Mt. Juliet?
* Mt. Juliet is growing and is projected to continue to grow.
* There are no Free Will Baptist churches in Wilson County, TN.

What's the plan?
* This is a bi-vocational low-budget start.  Sandy is working part-time and I am looking for a part-time job.
* We have 2 other couples committed at this time.  Over the next couple of months, we will be gathering a bigger group before starting weekly services.
* I will be contacting some of our friends to help with start-up money.
* We plan to start weekly services this spring.  Right now, it looks like we will meet in a motel meeting room.

Is this exciting?
Yes it is!
